Very often in older Florida homes, the laundry is in the garage, and this was the case in my home. This barn door was my first, constructed with 1×4 pine boards and 1/4″ plywood. I bought the steel bar but standoffs were made of dowels and the rolling mechanism was put together with odd nuts and bolts and wheels design for garage door pully systems.
